October is Breast Cancer Awareness month
For the past eight years we have celebrated Breast Cancer awareness with various Pink Friday events at our store front and salon, HBJ Glam Studio. For those of you who don't know, breast cancer awareness is extremely near and dear to my heart, I am a daughter of a two time breast cancer survivor. I have seen first hand how this disease affects not only the person who has been diagnosed with it but their family as well. I watched my mom fight and by the grace of God, survive each time.
We closed our HBJ Glam Studio store front and salon back in May but we will continue to join the cause. During our annual breast cancer awareness event we select a breast cancer foundation to support and give proceeds to. This year is no different.
We have decided to give monetary donations to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer non profit Organization.
